experimental and self-guided drawing?

The sessions are run to allow for self-guided drawing alongside opportunity to explore new concepts, mediums and methods in a group.

The premise of experimental drawing is to approach drawing as an exercise rather than producing artwork which serves to free us from preconceptions about what drawings should look like.

During the break and at the end of the session artists are encouraged to walk around, look at and discuss each others work. Over the past couple of years a real community has developed within the group. It has become a place where artists of a range of skill levels and backgrounds can meet and learn from one another.
